reclamation which has been recently undertaken for a site for a
Police Station, the Police are at present housed in buildings
rented for the purpose, and I propose that the Sham Shui Po
Market should, when possible, be removed from its present
congested site to one of the blocks on the yellow area. If this
be approved, I anticipate that it will facilitate negotiations

build. If they refuse an exchange, the only alternative course

existing condition of affairs in a district which shows marked
signs of development.
